Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Recodive oHG ("we," "our," or "us") makes Stoodle, an app for iPhone and Mac that keeps a sit-stand rhythm at your standing desk. This Privacy Policy explains what Stoodle does with your information.
In short: Stoodle has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We don't run servers for it, and we don't receive or store any of your data. Everything Stoodle knows stays on your devices and, if you choose, in your own iCloud account.

2. What Stays on Your Devices
- Your settings and your day: rhythm, workday, breaks, goal, your sitting and standing times, when you switched today, and a short summary of each day (how many switches were on time, early or late, and your longest sit). These are stored on your iPhone and Mac.
- Motion and air pressure (iPhone, if you turn on hands-free detection): Stoodle reads the phone's motion sensors and barometer to notice when your desk moves. These readings are processed on the phone and never sent anywhere. To help with troubleshooting, the phone keeps the last 10 minutes of them, which you can view under Settings › Advanced and share yourself if you choose; nothing leaves the phone unless you share it.
- Bluetooth (Stoodle Pro): Stoodle connects to the desk you pair to read its height and move it while you hold a button. The desk's name and identifier are kept on your device.
- Calendar (Stoodle Pro, if you allow it): Stoodle checks whether you're in a meeting so reminders can wait until it ends. Event details never leave your device.
- Notifications: reminders are scheduled locally by your device.
Each of these permissions is optional and can be withdrawn at any time in your device's settings.
3. iCloud
If iCloud sync is on, Stoodle keeps your settings, today's progress and switches, and your daily summaries in your own iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage), so your iPhone and Mac stay in step. Apple stores this data under your Apple Account; we can't see it. You can turn sync off, or delete the iCloud copy, in Stoodle's Settings. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases
Stoodle Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and never shares your payment details with us. Stoodle only asks the App Store whether Pro is unlocked on your Apple Account.
5. Information We Receive
None. Stoodle sends nothing to us. If you write to us for support, we receive what you choose to send (such as your email address and message) and use it only to answer you. We delete support emails once the matter is resolved, unless the law requires us to keep them.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
Because we don't hold any data from the app, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or erase: you control the data on your devices and in your iCloud account, and you can delete it by deleting the app or using "Erase" in Stoodle's Settings. For anything you have sent us directly, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Write to [email protected].
7. Children's Privacy
Stoodle doesn't collect personal data from anyone, children included.
